Mother nature informs my every process
Her elemental gifts of earth, air, fire and water
Serve to support my process
Providing stunning examples of creation and beauty
Both gentle and fierce–empowering in their magnificence
She is my great teacher
Ever present, ever abundant
Reassuring in her constancy
I am overwhelmed by her attention to detail
The splendor and simultaneous simplicity of all that her hand touches
Awakens my imagination
Her generosity knows no bounds
I draw strength from her examples of compassion, acceptance and resiliency
As she offers a wisdom that is ancient and an energy that is sacred
The light changes and shifts
I see things previously hidden to me
What is the truth, I ask?
This is what I have come here to know
This is my calling
To see through new eyes
To understand with a forgiving heart
To love with all of my being
To reveal the scape of my soul to myself and to the world
I am a brave and beautiful artist
